You don’t need to leave the property to enjoy many of the FREE activities Lazy River has to offer, including a private tennis court, fishing on your own private jetty, kayaking on the calm waters of the Murray River, or a game of croquet or boche. Or you can simply relax and unwind with a book and a glass of wine and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and abundant birdlife in the grounds or by the river.

Pinjarra Golf Course

Pinjarra Golf course is right next door and has recently been totally revamped and is a wonderful 18 hole course with some of the most beautiful greens in WA and is very welcoming to visitors. We have some of the best golf courses in Australia within 40 minutes drive.

The Links, Kennedy Bay

Recently rated the #1 Golf Course in Western Australia and Australia’s #2 Public Access Course by both the 2007/2008 Golf Course Guide and the 2007 Golf Australia Magazine, The Links Kennedy Bay is a golf course that will challenge and delight golfers. As the name suggests, Kennedy Bay is a links style course situated amidst undulating sand dunes and natural bushland. It has a magnificent northerly vista over Wambro Sound and the expanse of the Indian Ocean. Links style courses originated in Scotland at St. Andrews, the birth place of golf as we know it. The Cut, Port Bouvard

Cycling

This is an ideal base for some excellent cycling in the area. These range from longer trips on very scenic country roads to some pretty riverside trails next to the property.

Walking and Trekking

There are some very scenic walks in the area. Right next to the property a beautiful river walk and for the more ambitious you can enjoy walking some of the famous Bibbulmun Track which runs from Kalamunda to Albany in the south, an amazing 1000 kms! The Bibbulmun Track runs through Dwellingup which is just 20 minutes away.
